Service Desk Analyst

Vanguard Management Solutions is seeking an entry-level IT Service Desk Analyst to provide support for a prestigious client in Herndon, Virginia. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Install or assist with installation of hardware and peripheral components (monitors, keyboards, printers, disk drives) at user premises.
• Load specified software packages (operating systems, word processing, spreadsheet programs) into computers.
• Enter commands and observe system functions to verify correct operation.
• Instruct users on equipment, software, and manuals.
• Respond to client inquiries about systems operation and diagnose hardware, software, and operator problems.
• Coordinate activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems groups.
• Refer major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work in an office environment, using computers for extended periods and communicating via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0-2 years of related experience.

Pay

$60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
