About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of distributed software applications.
  • Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
  • Communicate progress to client engagement teams.
  • Collaborate with clients to transform their business problems through engineering solutions.
  • Work as part of a project team and be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery, and support of Technology solutions.
  • Manage changing priorities and learn new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Prior fullstack software product development experience with a preference for understanding DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
  • Proven experience in agile methodology for project lifecycle phases including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
  • Effective communication with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Understanding of current technology environment and industry trends and ability to provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in technology software development.
  • Back-end experience using modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS, or Azure.
  • Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or Responsive web design.
  • Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in cloud native/Microservices architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, container deployment.
  • Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g. Git, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing and knowledge of TDD or BDD software development techniques.
  • Experience in delivering digital projects and products using appropriate agile project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and integration of complex systems.
  • Experience in designing and architecting large business-critical systems.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
