About the role

EY is the only professional services firm with a separate business unit ("FSO") dedicated to the financial services marketplace. Our FSO teams have been at the forefront of reshaping and redefining the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of distributed software applications.
  • Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
  • Communicate progress to client engagement teams.
  • Collaborate with clients to transform their business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions.
  • Support clients in modernizing systems, processes, and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services.
  • Leverage Microservices, Cloud, Omni-channel integration, API Management, and open-source technologies to enable end-to-end automation.

Requirements

  • Prior full-stack software product development experience with a preference for understanding DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
  • Proven experience in agile methodologies, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages, including Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with front-end development using modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or responsive web design.
  • Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with cloud-native/Microservices architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
  • Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Experience with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing, including TDD or BDD software development techniques.
  • Experience in delivering digital projects and products using appropriate agile project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and integration of complex systems.
  • Experience in designing and architecting large business-critical systems.
