About the role
EY is the only professional services firm with a separate business unit ("FSO") dedicated to the financial services marketplace. Our FSO teams have been at the forefront of reshaping and redefining the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Support engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of distributed software applications.
- Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
- Communicate progress to client engagement teams.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
Requirements
- Prior fullstack software product development experience with a preference for understanding DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
- Proven experience in agile methodologies, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
- Hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
- Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment.
- Understanding of current technology environment and industry trends, and ability to provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in technology software development.
- Back-end experience using modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS, or Azure.
- Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or Responsive web design.
- Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience in building applications/platforms with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including experience with IaaS, PaaS, container deployment.
- Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g. Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing, and knowledge of TDD or BDD software development techniques.
- Experience in delivering digital projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology.
- Familiarity with automated testing and integration of complex systems.
- Experience in designing and architecting large business-critical systems.
Skills and Attributes

Pay
The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $86,600 to $197,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $103,900 to $224,700. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
