Service Coordinator I/Angels
JOB SUMMARY
The Service Coordinator I - CDA / ANGELS Workforce Program manages and supervises the compliance of training areas of Early Childhood in accordance with Minimum Standards, Early Head Start and Head Start Program Performance Standards and Guidelines, while ensuring that the services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed lens as defined by the agency. Functions include recruit and complete the intake process with service participants. Provide training to the service participants and walk them through the hiring process to be hired on part time. Schedule the ANGELS weekly with our partners/ stakeholders. Provide and maintain good relationships with our partners/ stakeholders. Maintain files and data entry. Along with the oversight of day to day operations.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports to: Manager, Service Coordinator II, or as designated.
- Directs: Coordination of services with staff and volunteers; liaison with personnel and representatives of collaborating agencies, community residents and others.
- Other: Works cooperatively with all staff to accomplish the mission, goals, objectives and performance measures of the program and agency

- Education/Training/Experience: Associates degree and four (4) years experience or High school diploma/GED and eight (8) years experience in education, health, social work, or other related human service field, required.
- Experience in working in a collaborative environment building organizational and stakeholder relationships and planning, required.
- Previous direct services leadership experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
- Certificate or license, as applicable, by the appropriate State agency as a qualified practitioner.
- State of Texas vehicle operator's license and proof of liability insurance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, you must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear, and taste or smell.
- You may be able to lift up to 25 pounds, have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust your focus with good hand-eye coordination.
PAY RANGE
$19 - $21 per hour
