About the role
The Service Coordinator oversees Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and Managed Care (MC) programs. This is a safety-sensitive position where the incumbent provides leadership and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) staff, partners with RISE customers, manages program records, ensures compliance, and may require some travel.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support HCBS programs by implementing RISE mission, vision, and values.
- Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSP) staff.
- Establish partnerships with RISE customers including clients, families/guardians, and funding agencies.
- Oversee and manage details of company and program records.
- Complete and maintain accurate payroll and billing documentation within designated time frames.
- Ensure programs meet licensing/survey requirements and contractual compliance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish (verbal and written).
- Experience working with the elderly and/or physically disabled in a long-term setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours and self-directed.
- Valid Arizona driver’s license, minimum of 21 years of age, and meet RISE insurance agency requirements.
- Pass a successful background check, driving record check, drug test, and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
