Service Coordinator

Medicap Home Medical (Des Moines, IA) Full-time | Pay commensurate with experience | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Medicap Home Medical is seeking a full-time Service Coordinator for our Service & Repair department, based in Des Moines, IA. You'll keep our Home Medical and Complex Rehab service and repair work moving: taking service requests, scheduling technicians, gathering the documentation payers require, and making sure every work order is complete before it goes to billing. What You'll Do Take service requests from clients, caregivers, and referral sources and verify patient informationVerify insurance and obtain physician orders, prior authorizations, and medical recordsSchedule service technicians and create work ordersTrack open work orders through completionReview completed work orders for accuracy and payer compliance before sending them to our Billing DepartmentEnter repair parts and verify HCPCS codes in our billing systemProvide backup support to our Rehab Coordinator What We're Looking For Experience in medical billing, home medical equipment, or complex rehab preferred, but we'll train a qualified candidateStrong attention to detail and accurate data entryExcellent phone and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple requestsComfort with Microsoft Office; Brightree experience a plus Why Join Us Our technicians can't help patients until the orders, approvals, and schedule are in place.
