Job Summary
Galaxy Integrated Technologies seeks an experienced Service Operations and Customer Relations Coordinator to support technical field service operations and warehouse management for security-focused projects. This role is based in Boston, MA, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
About the Role
Galaxy Integrated Technologies, founded in 1984, designs and installs state-of-the-art security systems across New England, New York, and New Jersey. We are now looking for a Service Operations and Customer Relations Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse inventory for security and low-voltage equipment, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and issuing materials
- Stage and prepare job materials for field technicians ahead of installations and service calls
- Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls and project sites
- Handle inbound calls regarding service issues, take initial calls, create and submit service tickets, and ensure the customer account is billed appropriately
- Upload and maintain required documentation for service tickets and customer accounts
- Cookorate with management regarding inventory as needed
- Use service platforms such as Service Titan to process tickets
- Provide customer service support via phone, including responding to inquiries and routing service requests
- Coordinate equipment returns, repairs, and warranty submissions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Serve as a primary point of contact for technicians regarding parts, tools, and equipment needs
- Collaborate with Service, Operations, and Field teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of work
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory management, and field support standards
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and be able to pass a driver record background check
- Inventory management experience in a warehouse environment, preferably handling security or low-voltage equipment
- Customer service experience, including professional phone support
- Scheduling and dispatching experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset
- Able to lift and move materials as needed
- Ability to pass a standard background and security screening
- Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably handling security or low-voltage equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with inventory management software
- Experience with scheduling and dispatching
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
