About the role
DeBra-Kuempel is seeking a Service Coordinator to provide strong administrative and billing support to the plumbing team, as well as efficiently communicate with and support the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, punctual, dependable, and capable of working independently.
Responsibilities
- Work with the plumbing service manager and team to provide quality and timely service, correspondence, and support to customers and the corporate office.
- Schedule technicians to meet customer needs.
- Prepare contracts for implementation, invoicing, and internal communication.
- Provide administrative support, including producing and maintaining letters, invoices, spreadsheets, reports, and other documents.
- Perform duties effectively, occasionally without supervision.
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support the role and organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (advanced education preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent administrative support experience.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Knowledge/experience within a mechanical contracting firm preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other software applications.
- Knowledge of AIA forms, certified payroll, prevailing wage, and State/Federal forms preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, proactive, and team-based approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional appearance, and a team-player attitude.
- Demonstrates integrity, honesty, professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands
The role requires regular talking, hearing, and movement within the office to retrieve files or meet with employees. Extended periods of computer work (reading and typing) are necessary. The position may involve one-on-one communication, small group interactions, or presentations to larger groups. Occasional travel for job-related business may be required.

The employee will work in a typical office environment.
