Compensation: $30.00 - $39.00 hourly, paid weekly every Friday.

About the Role
The Service Support Specialist is a key operational role responsible for supporting daily shop operations and ensuring an efficient repair and service workflow. This position serves as a central coordination point between technicians, leadership, and partner teams to maintain productivity, communication, and operational continuity.
The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of automotive industry experience and has a solid understanding of repair operations, shop flow, and technician support functions. This role is well-suited for an individual who is detail-oriented, operationally minded, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced service environment while balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shop operations to support efficient vehicle repair and service completion
- Dispatch and prioritize work assignments to technicians based on workload, skill level, and operational urgency
- Monitor and track shop metrics including repair progress, turnaround times, technician productivity, and workflow bottlenecks
- Partner closely with on-site operational and support teams to ensure alignment on vehicle status, priorities, and service timelines
- Maintain clear and professional communication between technicians, leadership, and partner teams
- Assist in identifying operational inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives within the shop
- Ensure repair statuses, documentation, and operational tracking tools are updated accurately and consistently
- Support leadership in maintaining a productive, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience within the automotive, fleet, or service operations industry
- Working knowledge of automotive repair processes and service shop operations
- Experience supporting technician workflow, dispatching, or repair coordination preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions
- Proficient with basic computer systems and operational tracking tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fleet operations, dealership operations, or EV service environments
- Familiarity with shop management systems or repair tracking software
- Experience tracking operational performance metrics and workflow efficiency
Work Environment
- Fast-paced automotive or fleet service environment
- Frequent interaction with technicians, operational leadership, and partner teams
- May require standing, walking through shop environments, and occasional lifting consistent with a service operations setting
