Service Contract Specialist I

About the role

This is an in-office position in Ballston Spa, NY. The Service Contract Specialist I prepares and maintains accurate service contract documents in the branch’s service management system, ensuring timely delivery of renewals to clients. This role supports branch revenue and customer retention by managing the end-to-end contract renewal process, including contract setup, pricing validation, and customer communication. Positioned as an advanced administrative function, the Service Contract Specialist provides specialized support for contract operations and reports directly to the Service Admin Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate service contract documents in the service management system.
• Ensure timely delivery of contract renewals to clients.
• Manage the end-to-end contract renewal process, including contract setup and pricing validation.
• Communicate with customers regarding contract renewals.
• Support branch revenue and customer retention through effective contract management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in business, operations, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in service administration, billing, or contract management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management platforms.
• Strong knowledge of service contract structures, terms, and pricing practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $21.02–$26.28 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Individual compensation is determined based on experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
