Service Consultant

About the role

The role involves driving sales growth by engaging with interested prospective customers, primarily through inbound calls and proactive outbound calls with active insurance shoppers. The compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped performance-based incentives.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues, implement solutions, and drive improvements; designing environment sizing, application deployment, disaster recovery, and architecture direction for application portfolios and environment support teams; developing and maintaining application infrastructure roadmaps; producing and presenting appropriate documentation; monitoring the current environment/tool status, performance, and capacity; providing technical and professional leadership for supported applications; and participating in the on-call rotation to provide support for the scheduling package.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure or platform engineering
• Proven experience supporting Linux and Windows environments in an enterprise setting
• Strong hands-on expertise in PowerShell scripting, UNIX/Linux shell scripting, datacenter technologies, security protocols, and SSO technologies
• Experience working with datacenter technologies such as networking, firewall, database, virtualization, access management, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
• Experience supporting batch processing environments and scheduling systems software
• Understanding of change management, project delivery, and operational processes
• Experience engaging with vendors and third-party providers
