Responsibilities

  • Work with service director to set overall vision and yearly objectives.
  • Manage operations to achieve these goals:
    • Promote business to grow service revenue while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs
    • Build relationships with prospective and existing customers to identify opportunities and promote offerings
    • Increase billable hours in INSC shop year over year
    • Make recommendations on capital expenditures to improve capacity and quality
    • Build a culture that upholds Geoprobe® objectives with INSC team, customers
    • Lead the service center business following the Absorption Model, including managing personnel, facilities, tools, systems, and financial reports
    • Lead and motivate employees toward understanding and aligning with company culture and goals
    • Provide opportunities for employee growth through cross training, goal setting, and giving feedback
    • Provide clear direction in everyday and challenging situations
    • Handle time & vacation approval, hiring selections and decisions to discontinue employment
    • Identify and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality
    • Prioritize, multitask, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Decisive leadership skills & problem-solving under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • SAP experience preferred
