Responsibilities
- Work with service director to set overall vision and yearly objectives.
- Manage operations to achieve these goals:
- Promote business to grow service revenue while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs
- Build relationships with prospective and existing customers to identify opportunities and promote offerings
- Increase billable hours in INSC shop year over year
- Make recommendations on capital expenditures to improve capacity and quality
- Build a culture that upholds Geoprobe® objectives with INSC team, customers
- Lead the service center business following the Absorption Model, including managing personnel, facilities, tools, systems, and financial reports
- Lead and motivate employees toward understanding and aligning with company culture and goals
- Provide opportunities for employee growth through cross training, goal setting, and giving feedback
- Provide clear direction in everyday and challenging situations
- Handle time & vacation approval, hiring selections and decisions to discontinue employment
- Identify and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality
- Prioritize, multitask, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment
Requirements
- Supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Decisive leadership skills & problem-solving under pressure
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Mechanical aptitude
- SAP experience preferred
