Service Center Lead (Logistics)

About the role

This onsite role in Saline, Michigan focuses on leading inventory management operations while ensuring accurate, efficient equipment flow across receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping. You’ll help maintain inventory integrity and drive continuous process improvements in support of customer-focused excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service center operations to ensure alignment with customer requirements and the full scope of projects.
• Independently lead inventory operations, including accurate receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping of equipment.
• Maintain strict inventory integrity and ensure compliance using the company’s inventory management system.
• Supervise daily on-site activity and maintain facility operations when leadership is not on-site.
• Provide continuous feedback to leadership on process improvements, warehouse layout optimization, and operational enhancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of inventory control or logistics operations.
• Proven experience in inventory control and service center leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of inventory systems, audit requirements, and service center optimization strategies.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with HCAP is a plus.
