Service Banker

About the role

Build, maintain and strengthen customer relationships through efficient, professional, friendly, and personalized customer service while processing customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, or payments
• Resolve complaints or account discrepancies
• Answer questions
• Maintain and balance cash drawers and reconcile any discrepancies
• Balance vaults, ATMs, and coin machines, as required
• Ability to open new accounts
• Knowledge of deposit products and services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Log referrals and customer feedback through internal system on a regular basis
• Handle currency, transactions, and confidential information in a responsible manner
• Maintain and demonstrate advanced knowledge of current bank products and services to provide accurate guidance and cross sell to customers
• Maintain advanced knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Meet Personal SMART Goals
• Complete required annual training and maintain knowledge relevant to the role
• Participate in bank and community initiatives to strengthen visibility and reinforce Firstar’s commitment to the communities it serves
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of the Bank’s priorities and objectives
