About the role
Honda of Concord is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. Located at 7650 Bruton Smith Blvd, Concord, North Carolina 28027.
Responsibilities
- Greets customers in the service drive area and assists them with the process of checking vehicle in for service.
- Assists Service Advisor by working with customer and technician to identify required maintenance.
- May advise customers on necessary and recommended services.
- May offer additional services and repairs to customers.
- Aids in moving vehicles.
- Aids customers with reviewing documentation, processing payment, and returning keys for completed services.
- Schedules appointments with customer.
- Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above Company standards.
- Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Participates in required training.
- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
- Fulfills Safeguards rules and regulations.
- Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
- Complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Observes all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Follows all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive or customer service industries desired.
- Basic knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability and knowledge of the Dealership Management System and other web-based applications utilized for operations.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Desired Education and Experience
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, or Doctorate Degree in relevant field.
- Up to 3 years, 3-5 years, or 5+ years of previous experience in automotive or customer service industries.
