About the role

Honda of Concord is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. Located at 7650 Bruton Smith Blvd, Concord, North Carolina 28027.

Responsibilities

  • Greets customers in the service drive area and assists them with the process of checking vehicle in for service.
  • Assists Service Advisor by working with customer and technician to identify required maintenance.
  • May advise customers on necessary and recommended services.
  • May offer additional services and repairs to customers.
  • Aids in moving vehicles.
  • Aids customers with reviewing documentation, processing payment, and returning keys for completed services.
  • Schedules appointments with customer.
  • Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above Company standards.
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participates in required training.
  • Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Fulfills Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.
  • Complies with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Follows all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive or customer service industries desired.
  • Basic knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability and knowledge of the Dealership Management System and other web-based applications utilized for operations.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Desired Education and Experience

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, or Doctorate Degree in relevant field.
  • Up to 3 years, 3-5 years, or 5+ years of previous experience in automotive or customer service industries.
