Service Appointment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with scheduling service appointments.
• Manage and maintain the service appointment calendar efficiently to maximize shop productivity.
• Communicate effectively with service technicians and customers to confirm appointment details and service needs.
• Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and estimated wait times.
• Follow up with customers as needed to confirm appointments or provide updates.
• Maintain customer records and appointment data in the dealership’s management system.
• Assist the service department with miscellaneous administrative duties.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in automotive service department or customer service preferred.
• Proficiency with phone systems and computer scheduling software.

Phillips Chevrolet of Frankfort is seeking a Full-time dedicated Service Appointment Specialist to join our team in Frankfort, IL. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers scheduling their vehicle service appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process that supports our service department's operations and enhances customer satisfaction. We are willing to train the right candidate. We are seeking individuals with flexible schedules as well as the ability to work some Saturdays.

Qualifications and Skills

• Able to type and handle high volume of telephone calls simultaneously.
• 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid drivers license and willing to submit to a background check and drug-screening.
