Service and Delivery Driver

About the role

Start a career, not just a job! We are hiring newly experienced and seasoned delivery drivers. Our Service and Delivery Drivers deliver product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles and assist with general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse. This full-time position offers career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
• Pick, stage, and load trucks as requested
• Understand and adhere to DOT regulations, including hours of service requirements
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
• Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
• Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable per company policy
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure vehicle and work area
• Wear a clean and laundered uniform provided by NTW
• Operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently as needed
• Perform other duties as requested or needed

Requirements

• Safety-first mentality
• 1+ years of experience, box truck experience, and/or delivery experience preferred
• 1+ years of no at-fault accidents; clean MVR
• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively while bending and twisting; occasional lifting of more than 50 lbs
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings
