Service Ambassador - Cape Fear Valley - EVS

About the role

The Service Ambassador greets and welcomes all guests, visitors, and staff at designated locations, provides excellent customer service, and may assist in various areas of the hospital or long-term care facility, including the Emergency Department or dining areas. Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the privacy, safety, and dignity of each customer by observing client confidentiality and adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensures timely response to guest or customer requests for information or assistance; identifies and communicates any delays or other problems.
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adheres to established policies addressing confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains compliance with Aramark’s standards of operation and Business Conduct Policy.
• Ensures all records and reports comply with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Follows Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective gear and infection control measures.
• Assists in training other employees.
• Performs varied duties as needs and priorities change; management may revise duties or schedule at any time.

Requirements

• Experience in a healthcare setting is helpful but not required.
• Must communicate fluently in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a significant benefit.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure or less-than-calm circumstances.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
