Service Advisor - Lexus of Portland
About the role
Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization anchored by deeply rooted core values and principles. Lexus of Portland has an outstanding opportunity for a Service Advisor to join their team. As a liaison between the Service Department technicians and the parts department, you will maintain customer satisfaction while delivering the Holman Experience through positive, rewarding relationships.
Responsibilities
- Meet and greet customers with courtesy and efficiency
- Provide outstanding guest experience
- Determine the course of action to take and obtain customer authorization
- Write up service needs and give customers an accurate estimate for dollar amount and completion time of work
- Communicate effectively with customers to achieve satisfactory repairs and sale of necessary repair or maintenance to vehicles
- Have knowledge of warranty and service/insurance policies
- Keep customers informed and advise customers of the prognosis of their vehicle
- Call customers to make appointments and answer telephones in a timely manner
- Attend and complete required training and department meetings
Requirements
- High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current valid driver’s license
- Good reading, writing, and math skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding customer service
- Ability to work retail hours
- Computer proficiency

Pay
This is a commission-eligible role with competitive wages commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location. Employees can expect to earn an average of $3,000–$10,000 per month, with earning potential based on personal performance.
