Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the service process
- Create a welcoming and professional experience while helping customers navigate service work, upgrades, diagnostics, and custom installation projects
- Build trust through clear, transparent, and proactive communication
- Deliver a high-end, white-glove customer experience that reflects the Vanlife Customs brand
- Greet customers and assist with vehicle check-in and service write-ups
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document symptoms, upgrade requests, and repair needs
- Build and present repair estimates and service recommendations
- Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics, installations, repair status, and timelines
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the build or service process
- Cook up and present repair estimates and service recommendations
- Coordinate scheduling and workflow to maximize shop efficiency
- Process invoices and collect payments upon vehicle delivery
- Maintain accurate service records and customer information
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Passion for adventure vans, overlanding, automotive service, or the outdoor lifestyle industry is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Experience in automotive, RV, overland, fabrication, or van conversion industries
- Familiarity with estimating and invoicing software
- Knowledge of electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, suspension upgrades, and vehicle accessories
- Understanding of service scheduling, maintenance processes, and diagnostics
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $52,000-$67,000 plus bonus, dependent on experience

Schedule
Full-time position: Tuesday–Friday with schedule shifts to create 4-day holiday weekends
