Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a professional, efficient, and positive service experience from start to finish. This role focuses on communicating customer needs, coordinating repairs and maintenance, providing recommendations, and keeping customers informed throughout the service process.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring clear communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately document service and repair needs.
- Explain maintenance recommendations, repair options, timelines, and pricing in a clear and professional manner.
- Identify and recommend additional services and products that benefit the customer while supporting vehicle reliability, safety, and performance.
- Create, manage, and close repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance services.
- Keep customers updated on repair progress, delays, and completion timelines.
- Process warranty claims and related documentation in accordance with manufacturer and dealership guidelines.
- Schedule service appointments and manage workflow to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, and service history within dealership systems.
- Stay current on manufacturer training, dealership systems, service programs, and product knowledge.
- Support and mentor team members as needed while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with customer transportation arrangements when necessary to ensure a seamless service experience.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Qualifications
- Previous Service Advisor experience (preferred)
- Experience in the automotive, truck, equipment, or transportation industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of dealership management systems (preferred)
- Experience with warranty processing and repair order management (preferred)
