Service Advisor
About the Role
Reporting to our Service Manager, our Service Advisor will oversee our service department ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. A large part of this role will be customer service; however, this person will also be responsible for managing service staff, including time inventory, enforcing company policies and standards, and ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. While experience is strongly preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee service orders and flow of Service Drive Lanes
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out additional assignments that leave a positive impression
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person
- Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers
- Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Dealership experience as a Service Advisor strongly preferred
- CDK/ADP knowledge required
- Strong time management skills
