Service Advisor

About the role

Mullinax Automotive is seeking a high-energy, customer service-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join their multi-store enterprise. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare for appointments with customers
• Greet and consult with customers regarding applicable maintenance specials
• Provide superior customer satisfaction
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently
• Produce repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates
• Collect payment from customers
• Clean and maintain work environment to ensure workplace safety
• Follow all Company procedures and standards
• Perform all duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance required
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Basic vehicle knowledge
• Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to withstand exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
• Pass background screening and drug test
