Responsibilities
- Aid in daily operations by scheduling and distributing work to technicians and yard team.
- Utilize Service Scheduler and other tools to generate and manage work orders.
- Use manufacturer flat rate guides and SSOs to determine work time and follow up on timely completion.
- Note Complaint, Cause and Correction of problems in IDS work orders.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and/or extended warranty companies for repair approvals and ensure payment.
- Greet customers, provide clear instructions, and answer customer calls professionally.
- Promote sales of additional services, parts, and accessories in a professional manner.
- Obtain customer signatures and payments for work before releasing boats.
- Schedule, coordinate, and follow up on sublet contractors.
- Inspect and communicate quality of work performed.
- Coordinate customer pick-up and finalize work orders.
- Provide prompt and detailed paperwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer service or technical support role preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with computers and software used in the automotive industry.
