Job Purpose

The Service Advisor liaises between customers and technicians, ensuring superior customer service and efficient repair scheduling. They process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates, document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs, create positive experiences for customers by preparing estimates for repair work and parts, work closely with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work, foster lifelong learning by monitoring job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing, maintain inventory of parts, paint, and materials necessary for repair functions, exhibit pioneering spirit by continuously seeking ways to improve processes and efficiencies within the shop, demonstrate good stewardship by completing invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner, and perform all other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the shop.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and rotating Saturday 6:30am - 3:30pm

Honor Commitments

  • Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.
  • Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
  • Create positive experiences for customers by preparing estimates for repair work and parts.
  • Work closely with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
  • Maintain inventory of parts, paint, and materials necessary for repair functions.
  • Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
  • Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.

Other Duties As Assigned

  • Adept to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows.
  • Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
  • Priority setting skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Technical skills/knowledge.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.
