Service Advisor

About the role

Dearth Automotive (GMC) in Monroe is seeking a customer service focused individual to take on our Service Advisor role. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive work environment and a growing dealer group!

Responsibilities

• Create a positive initial contact with service customers
• Ensure that all service phone calls are handled professionally and expediently
• Work closely with the Service team and manager to schedule service repairs
• Perform additional duties as required by the Service Manager
• Perform all required tasks in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures

Primary duties include opening work orders, discussing service issues with customers, determining method of payment, and maintaining communication with customers during the repair process.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elements
• Willingness and ability to work up to 12 hours per day as required
• Ability to sell service work
• Ability to work with customers in a variety of situations
• Good writing and communication skills
• Sufficient computer skills
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and or lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
