Responsibilities
- Proactively plan and schedule service work to ensure customer readiness and availability of required parts.
- Handle telephone inquiries efficiently, scheduling new appointments and managing active work in process.
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Diagnose and document vehicle issues accurately, recommending additional services based on service history.
- Provide detailed written cost estimates and establish a clear “promised time” for repairs.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction standards through strict progress checking and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Success as an Automotive Service Advisor with a strong track record of positive customer satisfaction.
- A demonstrated ability to manage others and coordinate team efforts under pressure.
- An organized, friendly, and persuasive personality with excellent communication skills.
- Sharp time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A professional appearance suitable for a customer-facing role.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
