About The Role
BDC Representatives communicate with customers by phone, text, email, and online inquiries to help schedule appointments, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service. Depending on your assigned department, your focus will be either vehicle sales opportunities or service and maintenance appointments.
Service Advisor Responsibilities
As a Sales BDC Representative, You Will
- Greet customers promptly and professionally.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspections.
- Prepare estimates and explain recommended repairs in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding repair status and timelines.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
- Review completed work with customers and explain services performed.
- Process repair orders and ensure all documentation is accurate.
- Maintain strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores through exceptional service.
- Build lasting relationships with customers and encourage future service visits.
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred (Toyota experience is a plus).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using dealership management software and computers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
