Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and directing them to an available technician
- Consulting with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives
- Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians
- Informing customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections
- Aiding customers in deciding between fixing their car at the dealership’s shop or trading the vehicle in
- Oversight and management of the service center’s scheduling and workflow
- Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
Qualifications
- Values – integrity, drive, team player
- Ability to learn and follow body shop processes
- Ability to learn and utilize diagnostic tools and special equipment
- Possesses ASE (level 2 or above) or State Technician Certification(s)
- Body Shop experience with import or domestic brands and automotive service-related operations
- Experience in dealership systems
