Service Administrator
Turner Morris is looking for a Service Administrator for our Arvada, CO location. Founded in 1992 by two professional commercial roofers, Turner Morris was established with a mission to raise the bar in the commercial roofing business in Colorado and create a different kind of roofing company—one that would emphasize safety, the fundamentals of character, competence, and commitment.
About the role
Respond to customer service requests and enter accurate work-order information. Maintain the daily service schedule and communicate appointment updates to customers. Prepare complete work-order information for field crews. Review completed work orders for accurate labor, materials, equipment, photos, and billing details. Prepare routine work orders for invoicing and follow up on missing documentation. Review employee timesheets, schedules, work-order labor, and vehicle GPS information for accuracy. Track open, in-progress, completed, and on-hold work orders to prevent delays. Maintain accurate customer, property, warranty, purchase-order, and billing information. Coordinate with service leadership, project managers, foremen, and field crews. Provide backup administrative support for the Mountain Service Department when needed. Assist with general Denver office administration as workload permits.
What Success Looks Like
- Customers receive timely, professional communication and dependable follow-through.
- Service requests are acknowledged and documented promptly—generally within two business hours.
- Work orders, schedules, timesheets, and customer records remain accurate and current.
- Completed work is prepared for invoicing quickly, with minimal corrections or avoidable backlog.
- Missing information and potential delays are identified and addressed proactively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant additional education preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible administrative, service coordination, billing, project administration, or construction office experience preferred.
- Experience reviewing work orders, preparing billing documentation, auditing timesheets, or supporting a field-service operation is strongly preferred.
- Maintain a drug- and alcohol-free environment while working.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, good judgment, accountability, and a team-oriented approach in all customer and internal interactions.
- Perform additional administrative duties assigned, consistent with the nature of the role.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to support changing business needs, storm events, and increased service volume.
Skills
The successful candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing several priorities at once. They communicate calmly with customers, follow through without constant reminders, identify missing information, and work effectively with both office and field teams.
Schedule
Full time—in office / 8:00 am to 5:00 pm / Monday to Friday / Overtime may be required.
