Servers - Denny's

LV Petroleum is searching for SERVERS to support the Denny's restaurant (located inside the travel center). The Servers are responsible for providing outstanding service to customers in our onsite dining facility. These roles involve taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, and ensuring that customers have a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 9am - 11am and 1pm to 3pm inside the Denny's at our travel center located at 225 E. EVERGREEN ST, STRAFFORD, MO Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction:Greet and seat customers promptly, and present menus with enthusiasmProvide detailed information about daily specials, menu items, and promotionsTake orders accurately and efficiently and communicate them to the kitchen staffService Excellence:Deliver food and drink orders in a timely manner while following health and safety regulationsCheck on customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptlyProcess customer payments accurately, including handling cash and credit cardsCleanliness and Organization:Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by clearing tables, resetting them for incoming guestsMonitor and restock supplies as needed, including utensils, napkins, and condimentsAssist with maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and service areasTeam Collaboration:Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are fulfilled correctlyAssist fellow servers and staff as needed during busy service times Requirements Previous experience in a food service or customer service role preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentMust possess a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism at all timesAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds Additional Notes: Food safety certification is a plus, but training will be providedA genuine passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service is essential Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Weekly PayGrowth Opportunities
