Position Summary
The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service during meal times by serving food and beverages to residents in a warm, respectful, and efficient manner. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a team and making a difference in the lives of seniors.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet residents with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Take meal orders and serve food and beverages promptly
- Ensure meals are served according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room and service areas
- Auxiliary with setting tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables for the next meal
- Communicate resident feedback and concerns to kitchen or care staff as needed
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Auxiliary with dishes and cleaning
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience preferred, but not required – we’re happy to train the right person!
- Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Show respectfulness and compassion toward senior residents
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Schedule
Full Time Shift, hours may vary- but looking for 12pm-8pm, Weekends are required
Part Time shift, hours may vary
Must be available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
