Server - The Park at Modesto

About the role

We are seeking a personable and attentive server to join our Culinary Department at The Park at Modesto! Part-time opportunity! You enjoy providing outstanding customer service to residents. This role provides meal service and assists with other front-of-house tasks in the community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Greet residents and families
• Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs’ daily specials
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
• Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Food handler's card required
• Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations

Skills

• Positive interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 15 pounds
• Customer service experience

Pay

Starting at $18.50/hour.

Schedule

Evening shift available: Monday–Friday, 4 PM–8 PM.
