Server - Tap and Pour (IAD)

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from customers and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks, as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure the work area is clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, remove trash, sweep and mop work area, dust, and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Verbal and written English language skills to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, and understand weights and measurements.
• Brand certification as required.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check, order, and close out checks.
• Ability to work and stand in confined spaces for long periods of time.
