Server - Shelter Club (Part Time)

About the role

The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa is seeking a part-time Server to assist at our Shelter Club, a casual poolside restaurant offering craft beer, cocktails, and fare such as sandwiches, salads, burgers, and fresh fries. Located behind the outdoor third-floor pool, guests can enjoy ocean views while dining and relaxing without leaving their pool chairs.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders poolside.
• Assist guests with menu recommendations and special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (about 25 pounds).
• Must be eligible to serve alcohol.
• 3+ years of experience in Food & Beverage in a serving capacity.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to take direction.
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, pushing and pulling, simple grasping frequently, and squeezing, overhead reaching, and fine manipulation occasionally.
• Must be available on weekends.
