Server/Set up

Major Responsibilities

• Aid in collecting all banquet equipment such as flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces.
• Prepare garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
• Clean and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
• Assist with preparation and set-up of event rooms when necessary.
• Prepare tables with place settings as directed.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
• Maintain bottles and glasses to ensure efficient drink preparation and beverage promotion.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Break down tables and banquet equipment after each event.
• Clean and return serving pieces to proper storage areas.
• Handle cash and perform cashiering duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Daily lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs. for up to 10 minutes at a time.
• Constant reaching, standing, walking, and stooping.
• Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.
• Must have good manual dexterity.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of time.
