About the role

Hillcrest Health & Rehab is seeking a friendly and dependable Server to join their dining services team in Bellevue, NE.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and patients in a friendly, timely, and respectful manner.
• Aid with dining room setup, meal service, and cleanup.
• Create a positive, welcoming, and comfortable dining experience.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
• Support residents, patients, guests, and team members with kindness and professionalism.
• Work closely with the dining services team to ensure quality service.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, service stations, and workspaces.
• Assist with other dining services duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Previous serving, food service, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
• A dependable, respectful, and team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, bending, standing, and movement as needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control practices.
• May have possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
