Server - Part-Time - The Rushseba Station

Hourly, non-exempt position (eligible for overtime) in the Culinary department at Rushseba Station.

Schedule

• Part Time - 32 hours per pay period
• 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
• Includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay

$15.10 - $18.50/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dining service by assisting with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests, and helping residents select their meals.
• Ensure safety and sanitation by setting and clearing tables, arranging seating, and maintaining the cleanliness of all flatware and glassware.
• Perform dishwashing and organize clean dishes in designated areas.
• Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with residents and team members.
• Participate in special projects, assist in other areas of the building, and attend in-service training sessions and team meetings as required.

Requirements

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow emergency protocols.
• Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors.
• Successful completion of a state-mandated background check.
