  • Weekdays 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Weekends 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Includes every other weekend and holiday

Pay

$13.00 to $15.00/hour (hourly non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

About the Role

As a Server, you’ll be at the heart of our community, providing exceptional dining service to residents while fostering meaningful connections. Whether assisting with meal selections, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment, or simply offering a warm smile, you’ll play a key role in helping residents enjoy each mealtime with dignity, joy, and companionship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with seating
  • Build positive relationships with residents and guests
  • Help resident select their meals
  • Ensure safety and sanitation
  • Set and clear tables
  • Arrange seating
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of flatware and glassware
  • Perform dishwashing
  • Organize clean dishes in designated areas
  • Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures
  • Communicate effectively
  • Proactively communicate with residents and team members
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Participate in special projects
  • Assist in other areas of the building
  • Attend in-service training sessions and team meetings as required

Requirements

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow emergency protocols
  • Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors
