$16.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience) + perks

Schedule

Non-Exempt, Part-Time Hourly. 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM, hours subject to availability; a minimum regular availability of two weeknights required (Monday-Friday).

About the Role

Sedgebrook is seeking a friendly, hospitality-focused Server to join our dining team. No formal serving experience is required – we're happy to train the right person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing warm, attentive service, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, positive dining experience for residents and guests.
• Provide gracious, courteous, and attentive table service.
• Take orders, deliver meals, and respond to resident requests with care.
• Answer menu-related questions confidently (training provided).
• Set tables and maintain workstations in an organized, clean manner.
• Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Follow food quality, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.

Qualifications

• A friendly customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Interest in hospitality, service, and working with older adults.
• Willingness to learn – serving experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Experience working with seniors is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
