About the Role

As a Server at Pendry, you’ll craft memorable dining experiences by delivering professional, timely service and anticipating guest needs. Your role is key to ensuring satisfaction and creating WOW moments that define our luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring special requests or modifications are communicated to the kitchen staff.
• Anticipate guest needs throughout the meal service, such as refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and offering dessert or coffee options.
• Check in with guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Promote menu items, specials, and promotions using suggestive selling techniques to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Adhere to all cleaning and safety standards.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Follow the food & beverage sequence of service with attention to detail.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create memorable moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, based on business needs.

Requirements

• Passion for spirits, wine, and food.
• Personable and enjoys engaging with guests.
• Open to learning, developing, and growing both personally and professionally.
• Trustworthy with integrity.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Basic communication skills.
• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations (preferred).
• Prior experience with micros or other POS systems (preferred).
• Luxury hotel experience (preferred).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for extended periods during your scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods.
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi-regular basis.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $19 per hour, exclusive of gratuities or other incentive pay.
