Server - Masons (AM Shift)

About the role

The Restaurant Server role at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is dedicated to providing exceptional table service, creating a warm and memorable dining experience, and contributing to the restaurant's atmosphere and success.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit
• Process payments accurately using POS systems
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked
• Aid in opening, closing, and restocking duties
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed
• Ability to obtain a valid TABC permit

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
