Responsibilities

• Provides residents and guests with superior customer service.
• Takes residents’ and guests’ food orders, places food orders, and serves requested items graciously with courtesy.
• Answers residents’ and guests’ menu questions.
• Maintains safe and sanitary conditions for dining rooms and staff work stations.
• Performs cleaning assignments.
• Sets and clears dining room tables.
• Maintains work stations.
• Follows proper food handling techniques and maintains standards of quality for all dining areas.

Requirements

• Active Food Handler’s card or ability to obtain.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
• Courteous, gracious, and tactful.
• Pleasant, cheerful, and service-oriented.
• Genuine interest in working with older adults.
• Ability to work well with others; team-oriented.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Neat and professional in appearance.
• Available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular, dependable, and reliable attendance.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must pass a criminal background check and other pre-employment requirements.

Pay

$17.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Schedule

Full-time or part-time positions available. Flexibility on days and hours is preferred.
