About the role

Provide high-quality meal service and create a gracious environment for residents through accurate order taking, effective communication, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve hot and cold foods
• Assist with special functions
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas
• Oversee bistro areas
• Ensure residents' dietary needs are met
• Know daily specials and learn resident preferences
• Participate in quality assurance activities
• Attend all required trainings
• Maintain a sanitary environment by sanitizing and resetting tables after each meal

Requirements

• Demonstrate core values of love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, and respect
• Previous experience in healthcare dietary departments or restaurants preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Knowledge of ADA, infection control, health regulations, and OSHA standards
