About the role

The Server Department within Culinary Services at Clarendale Arcadia is seeking individuals who can exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization while providing superior quality service and dining room presentation.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order.
• Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
• Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Know and correctly serve diets provided according to Policy and Procedure.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, fostering a positive marketing environment.
• Support the creation of a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Requirements

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification.
• Have or be able to obtain Finger Print Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, and TB testing clearance.
