Job Summary

Demonstrates exceptional service and hospitality in a venue offering table-side service.

Essential Functions Of The Job

• Demonstrate basic service techniques and style.
• Able to take orders accurately and enter them in POS system.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and ingredients.
• Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
• Able to clean and reset dining spaces.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment.
• Knowledge of fire safety procedures; assist with evacuation of residents if needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ personal and medical record information.
• Always adhere to Lenbrook rules and dress code.

Qualifications

• Skills and aptitude required: Front-of-the-house experience, ability to be organized while multi-tasking, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, good communication and interpersonal skills, must demonstrate sensitivity and interest in people, especially older adults, must have patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate a fire extinguisher.

Education And Experience Required

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of serving experience.
