Overview

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipating their needs and responding promptly to inquiries or requests.
• Provide outstanding service in a friendly and professional manner, following proper service protocols.
• Maintain full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service.
• Complete station set-up and breakdown/side-work, polishing and cleaning water glassware.
• Take food and beverage orders, upselling as appropriate, and communicate with the culinary team about meal requirements.
• Alert the Restaurant Manager of any guest suggestions, complaints, or issues.
• Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
• Assist in seating guests and answering phones as needed, cross-training among other food and beverage outlets as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of serving experience, preferably in high-volume, casual environments.
• Must adhere to and agree to compensation and tip reporting guidelines.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer is required.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Unexpired Food Handlers' license must be obtained upon hire.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, place, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Schedule
