Responsibilities

• Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.
• Carries resident trays to their tables from the serving line and picks up the dirty tray once the resident is done with their meal.
• Affirms resident/guest satisfaction with their meals.
• Maintains knowledge of all specials and food items, explaining them to residents or guests.
• Maintains tables and surrounding areas in a clean, presentable, and ready state.
• Fulfills daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Assists with the orientation and training of new kitchen employees.
• Follows safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Sets up and cleans the Dining Room while meeting or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
• Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
• Completes opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Aids in organizing and placing supplies in dining room and surrounding areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining is preferred.
