Server - Delaware Plaza

About the role

We are seeking a personable and attentive server to join our Culinary Department at Delaware Plaza. This part‑time position involves providing outstanding customer service to residents, assisting with meal service and front‑of‑house tasks in the community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Greet residents and families
• Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs’ daily specials
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
• Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Positive interpersonal skills
• Food handler's card required
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 15 pounds
• Customer service experience
• Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations

Pay

Earn between $17.13 and $18.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

Multiple shifts: 7 AM – 2 PM and 4 PM – 7:30 PM; 3‑5 days per week, including weekends and holidays.
